Halley's Comet is a huge 'superstar' in space! It takes about 76 years to finish a big lap around the Sun and come back to visit Earth. Its last visit was in 1986, and its next appearance is expected around the year 2061. Ancient Chinese people were very smart and recorded its sightings long ago. Later, an astronomer named Mr. Halley accurately calculated its orbit, so everyone named it after him. From afar, this little guy looks like a huge dirty snowball, and only when it gets close to the Sun and lit by sunlight does it light up its cool, long tail!
